Nowadays I see many older Sporeans deployed at MRT stations looking for bombs. I don't think these are ex-policemen
Anyway I doubt that there are enough retired policemen to police all the NTUC supermarkets in Spore. The reason I think NTUC will only hire Sporeans is because "WE" are more trust worthy, since we have been trained to follow the rules. We also have had NS training with lots of practical experience guarding installations
