The champ is still XMX with new signboard....they recently substituted some ingredients so lost some ground.
Tiong Bahru used to be bridesmaid when XMX too long queue or closed then they get business. Recently business picking up with queue too...order the 5 bucks portion with fried fish head.
The last one is PRC run....nothing to shout about run of the mill.
anybody tried this ma po lor mee at bugis si beh lor pasar? tried b4 still ok not too bad :o
Me moved to the area not long ago........the food center was one of the pull factors......unfortunately now always crowded even tour bus also send 'tourists' from the 2 IRs here.Clap clap clap. You know your lor mee well.
I stay in this area. The XMX always long queue but recently this Tiong Bahru seemed to have a second wind and its catching up.
The last one is run by a PRC who worked for Tiong Bahru. She was 'headhunted' by this 3rd stall owner to help him run this new 3rd stall. Worst lor mee among the 3.

Heard that XMX sisters always quarrel and suka suka dun open shop without warning.....part of the snaking queue is because of their inefficiency too.....
Tiong Bahru the son of the stall is friendly chap always wearing some football jersey.....i go for Tiong Bahru now if Lor Mee fix is needed
