For a whiLe i thought most cycLists are generaLLy Lean & trim..but seems Like many of ours on the roads are damned BUI !..
It's Like a BufaLLo riding on a mynah; as they say..;)
Or is this another quirky UniQueLy Singapore SynDrome ?..:D

Good, at least they exercise! I worry mostly about the bicycles, most wheelsets are not built for the massively overweight. Local bikeshops seldom advise customers on those limits.

Yes, fun like bungy jumping, except bungy jump is safer.
I refuse to keep a bike at home for fear my wife will take it to the road

Really depends what kind of cycling you are into. For family and leisure tours the park connectors are perfectly safe. Not everybody has a PCN in their neighbourhood yet but at the pace they are being constructed right now it should not be far away.

The rail corridor has huge potential too. A 25km green lung cutting right through the middle of SG. Amazing! Right now it's more for off-road cyclists though. Let's see what they do with it.

Agree on the road cycling though. I only hit the roads at night, after 9pm. Some roads i skip altogether.
