msian army have combat experience by sending troops to UN peacekeeping mission.
msian weapons may not be top of the range but it more than enough to defend her borders.
msian troops are much more motivate, higher morale.

in case you dunno, every airfields in spore is within range of the msian MLRS which saf have no answer to it. without a mean counter battery the msian MLRS, msian can put every runways out of commission as long the ammo last.
