Have been seeing those for quite a while and noticed them even more since i need to approve posts of moderated accounts. Quite an effort to create. What's the story? Who's behind it?

Ran out of ideas for moniker names, hence using company names. Easier for the owner to remember his own clones also. Best is, there is no need to worry about choosing the avatar

Don't worry about avatars. Lee Kuan Yew and Ass Loon avatars aplenty here.
