Will Cecilia Sue Be Charged?

Don't agree. I get the impression she was in love with NBG in the same way LO was in love with MP.

Sadly, though a slut, she is also a victim. NBG knew that sales people need to keep their client onside and he took advantage and got her servicesbfor free while the govt paid the bills. NGB is smart, while she is certainly not.

I have a feeling, someone cheated on her to make her think about moving on and Palmer had itchy dick from power ego trip.

During the trail, CPIB's investigative work came under scrutiny. If they want to go after CS, the spotlight will be quite glaring and very embarassing.

Imo, nothing for them to lose now. Someone must take the rap. Standard civil service MO. Surely none in AGC and none in CPIBto be slaughtered. Who's left? Only CS. She 'won' the case for NBG. She was supposed to be their star witness. Turned out to be shit witness. Unpalatable to the key players behind the scene.

Whatever the outcome, its a good lesson for those in govt sales and those govt servants who received it. The message must have sunk in by now.

Sadly Teng and his numerous mistakes had made CPIB a laughing stock.

Yes, sunk in already. People in the civil service commented it is far safer to bonk colleagues (junior or senior) than outsiders with business dealings when NBG's case first made the headlines.

Wrt to CPIB and Teng, it was only a matter of time before they were exposed for 'weaknesses' in investigation. They should send their chaps to the SPF or CNB for proper training.

If there are no instances of corruption, then the case should be thrown out of court. CS is a great (somewhat mercenary) salesperson. If my company can afford her, I'd like to employ her. Gets to the top decision maker and is able to become intimate with them. Where/how to find worker like that?

Cheers!

NBG was found not corrupt, she had sex with him for nothing. Everybody is laughing at her and she needs to hide her face. The companies she worked for had a lot of explaining to do and surely did not like this kind of attention. How on earth is that being a good salesperson?

She is just a arrogant slut, simple.

charged for lying court?

i'd like to see that happen

would also like to know what was so untrue in the blogger's blog that she had to send him a lawyers letter

Actually now i think it goes far beyond Teng n CPIB going by the press reports of Siva's oral decision...no doubt Siva rubbished Cecilia as a witness but while doing so he also relied on contemporaneous evidence i.e. the sms' n the cellphone conversations...

Bottom line AGC sld hv gone thru all the evidence including Cecilia's/NBG's statements, those critical sms' n cellphone transcripts, grilling Cecilia at the same time to test the 'outcome' n satisfy themselves first, before it finally went before Siva...this was just too high profile of a case not to do so...

Based on wat i read of Siva's oral decision, i think the AGC wld be ill advised to appeal...the gravamen of his decision appears to lie on Cecilia n NBG's evidence in court...dont think CA wld overturn such a decision so easily...

I hold up my hand n say i got it wrong...personally hold the CP n the AG(at the material time) in v high regard(still do regardless of wat has happened), so tot this case wld not turn out there way it appears to hv done...no doubt DPPTan who prosecuted has to take some responsibility but like i said abv, in such a high profile case such as this one, surely it wld hv been incumbent upon the the CP n AG to sign off on it as well?...

Steven must be scrambling now together wif Adeit to do some serious damage limitation...particularly wif the other matters still on going...

The last case was an ICA officer appealed against the conviction and acquitted by high court when CPIB couldn't even establish in the charge the amount of bribe received and the trial judge in district court relied on a witness who was convicted for other criminal offence. There are magistrates and district judges who would take an easy way out to convict persons under the presumption law and I applaud the DJ in NBG's case.

I am sure CPIB would love to go after CS.

AGC on the other hand is more likely to want to hang someone in CPIB.

Both are however constrained by political masters who are keen to lie low and move on.

Dear Arun, Scroo and GD.

The authorities are now caught in a bind. Firstly they hyped the case and they lost it. It was an unmitigated disaster for Steven as the choice to charge was his and the case was conducted under his watch.

a. Charging Ceceilia Sue would be a disaster for CPIB. Firstly unless she folds, then well CPIB AGC wins, If it goes to court her only defence is , that , there was Threat , Inducement Duress from CPIB which the evidence points strongly at. Can u imagine Teng Kee Fatt taking the stand to defend himself ?

b. If they do not charge her, then the disaster for other cases so dependent on witness evidence for CPIB with no " Mont Blancs" " dinners" etc etc become all the more difficult.

Oh yes just remembered tat 'Justice' something r other chappy who created a conspiracy theory thread when NBG's matter first broke...n some one identified him as a former police mate of NBG who then went on to work for Oracle n apparently it was reported in the press tat he was listed as a witness for the prosecution although i dont recall him actually taking the stand...

Wld be nice to hear from him again now...

Locke,

Stand corrected but i think the present CJ was the AG at the material time when NBG was charged, also think he was still the AG when NBG first came before Siva at the start of the trial...

I agree that they have no option but to charge her for perjury for all the reasons mentioned above. But, it will be a minefield with someone as unpredictable as her. She might say something they don't want to hear...

Like, "the officer told me if you suck my cock I will be nicer to you in this long investigation", " the officer showed me a stack of 1000 dollars saying it could be mine" " Officer said if he could vent his frustration in me both I and the officer would be liberated"

The standard of your england is going from bad to worst. My advise is for you to go back to Primary 4.
