What have local Singaporeans done to deserve such a cruel and wicked treatment from PAP.

PAP mandarins enjoy 50 years of rule, enjoy lavish lifestyle because the locals give them mandate to get rich and richer by the years.

Casinos and car race were taboo subjects but they become real landscapes of Singapore.

I too was thinking about the current foreign influx , and Singapore in the 19th century came to mind .. If you really think about it long enough , PAP have preserved the worst aspects of colonialism and taken out the "good" parts . I wonder how many Singaporeans would have preferred to stay as British subjects, like certain islands in the Caribbean .
