SDP's candidate Dr Paul Tambiyah decided against joining e party & left SDP on 15-Jan & had since joined WP's to volunteer for Health Talk in Tampines.
Another SDP stalwart, Dr Ang Yong Guan leff SDP on PE Nominations Day to volunteer for WP's health talk in MParade.
Earlier in mid-2012, 2 other SDP former CEC had officially been accepted as WP's new member after they volunteered for Open House for a year.
