That stretch heading towards Tuas, this was 2 years back, I was stuck in a 3 hours crawl towards that direction & reaching near to Brick land Road exit, they diverted traffic to the left, for a truck with a 40 ft container overturned just after that exit. All the while in the jam, there were no radio announcement, no warning on the display, till you are almost at the spot...after three hours, the announcement came..

Then you wonder, what the fcuk? are those cameras mounted overhead along the expressway for?

Today alot of accident. Some idiot drive his car up the divider at jalan Boon Lay junction near to Chevron.

Traffics always been bad in that area. Now that they have decided to let in more people, they are building some new roads.

They've already notified land owners in Bishan, Marymount Convent, Lee Ah Mooi old folks home, etc that they are going to take their land for some kind of road extension program.

However since the traffic is already so bad & they plan to let in more people, it will still be bad even if they build more roads

The road extension program is called North South Highway and Lornie Road will be widened and be "realigned" through Bukit Brown cementery.

Could be because there are few "alternative" routes & everyone is trying to get to work at the same time. The PAP has relied on the ERP system to control car flow & NOT spend $$$ to expand the road network.

Land is a precious commodity & the PAP is all about maximising profits by selling it for housing.

then I hope the Ministers get stuck on PIE everytime they try to get to Changi Airport and no one gives way to the security detail that takes up 1.5 lanes...

This you are correct, you see the overhead bridge in the picture, you will find them hiding on top of that bridge with the speed camera...and please be careful for the motorist is front of you, who suddenly brake noticing the camera...it has happened before my eyes..and that bridge is very popular with speed camera especially when it is near bonus time...or festive season.
