Lee Kuan Yew has already made his stand perfectly clear on this. It isn't going to happen.

He has said that in the event of a freak election result, the SAF will be called in.

He also stated that "Singaporeans should not assume that they can choose their government". In another quote, he stated that "The PAP is the government and the government is the PAP".

Those hoping that he will soon kick the bucket should also take heed of the fact that he has promised to rise from the grave in order to sort out Singapore's problems.

Lee Kuan Yew has made his stand known in no uncertain terms. He has stated his views unequivocally for everyone of us to understand.

Like it or not, Lee Kuan Yew rules Singapore. Alive or dead, he owns this island. His family members own this island. Ho Ching is in charge of billions of dollars of public money, and Lee Hsien Loong is the Prime Minister. There is not a thing that you or I can do about it. A WP government is not something that Lee Kuan Yew will be prepared to entertain. A decision has been already made on this matter, any further debate or speculation is futile.
