As everyone knows by now, thai beverage king, Charoen is buying F &N for $9.55 per share. Also, as we know, Prince Lee Hsien Yang is the CEO of F & N.

Prince Lee owns or controls 588,240 ordinary shares of F & N = $5.6177 million
Also owns 160,000 prefered shares which are the equivalent of 135,078 (after preferred shares converted to ordinary shares = $1.23 million
Finally, he owns 955,078 ordinary units in the F & N commercial trust. How much this is worth, I have not managed to look it up.

All in, not a bad haul for someone considered the bodoh of the Lee famlilies, and I am sure many of his shares were obtained at alow price as a stock option/bonus. Good job Hsien Yang.

Every life are unpredictable, just my opinion No matter how rich you are, how much more money you have also cannot bring it along with you when your time comes to die. During my younger day, my father used to tell me no matter how rich or poor you are, you only need a comfortable bed, a blanket and a pillow and a reasonable 2-3 meals a day to live your life happily and meaningful as long as you have enough money to spend. And also, when we die we only need a space of 3 ft by 6ft to rest-in-peace

Is better that you sell a company when it is profitable rather than when it starts to go red.

I used to have a rich friend which is the supplier for Motorola in Singapore, he sold his company to others during that time when Motorola phones are selling like hot cake. A lot of people during that time feel that he is stupid, how can you sell your company when it is making so much money... Now as we know what happen to the Motorola phone. He sure make the correct choice to sell it...
