The idea of the GRC was to disadvantage the OPPOS,,,and it will create more,,,as if another palmergate happens and some MP resign,,there is no need for a by erection as the other MPs can take over,,,

Also remember during the last GE there was talk of allowing PRs to vote? this might jolly well happen as it will give PAP more votes,,we all know FTs will not become citizens and will vote PAP

I have always thought that way too. But lets assume most of these new citizens and PR have a thinking head. I mean the PAP govt won't just dish out these privileges to any dumb shit foreigner. So these new citizens and PR can think. When they mingle around enough with the locals, they will realise that what's happened to us locals will eventually happen to them. (I think a Reform Party member spoke about this.) And so the realisation that the PAP needs to be stopped asap, so that they and their families would not suffer the same fate. You could argue its too far fetched a notion, but I think its a real possibility.
