Another opposition will made them work harder, and raise all these in parliament and not in rally only.

Look like these are suggestions that you want to raise for yourself but don't seem to be what WP said they would want to raise.

WP is quite clear what they thought of foreigners. Those who do jobs that Singaporeans cannot or would not do, they are welcomed. Those who are spouses of Singaporean they are also welcomed to be Singaporean. All Singaporeans, old or new or origin, should not be discriminated. This is what I gathered from the talks.

If you wish to champion any other causes quite different from the above you should find your own MP to do it, maybe your favourite PAP backbencher MP.

Why so late? Why did'nt they raise in parliament earlier say in May 2012, one year after the GE?

This was answered at the rally. Seems like you are just making comments without actually listening to the speeches. Why do PAP get such an idle IB like you?

Then why should gov not bear the responsibility to run all TC?

The actual answer you should ask the government or the PAP. But one possible answer could be to allow TC the opportunity to subcontract operations or sell assets to companies set up by the party to create funds to fund party expenses.

Why should WP do that? As long as the management of the TC, being a public organisation, is not being abused for private gain, why should WP give up this only link to the residents equivalent to a grassroot organisation in the ward?

nice and decent fella. very singaporean and very down to earth..and he has a doctorate and a asso professorship!!! wow!!! if WP continues to have this type of high flying members, it will definitely be a formidable force to be reckoned with in future GEs...i am sure he has already won some votes for Lee Li Lian...

Remember it is the first time in the history for both WP and PAP has cause bye-election, shown both PAP and WP a slap.

For the future of country, you have to build you multi democracy, you have to start now, not just have 2 parties, you have grow more parties into parliament so that the future will be secured.

Nobody is stopping other parties from getting into parliament. It is these other parties who are not so sure about themselves. They are not sure what they should do to bring themselves into parliament instead of denying others their chance. They are afraid of being cursed for life if they do that. So they do not know what to do.
