It is meant for right handers only. So lefties are at a disadvantage. The Israeli TAR 21 is better

who gave a shit about the lefties? learn to shoot with right hand pulling the trigger.

We should sell truckloads of that to the Mali fighters... ha ha ha ha

Short review that focus on the internals of the weapon.
The SAR 21 is a very accurate weapon which he did not highlight.

Really? But then why the "fully ambidextrous charging handle" mentioned in the video?

BTW anybody played with SAR21 before? I only got the M16

Here's a little historical tidbit. I read somewhere that there was a dispute between Colt & Chartered Industries about the number of M15 rifles made by Spore. They accuse Chartered of making more rifles & not paying Colt the licensing fees.

Thats why Spore decided to buy designs, it was all about $$$.

M16 can be made w/o license all over the world.

Someone told me about how his friend who decided to quit from Chartered Industries was strip searched before he was allowed to board a plane:D
This was in the 70's when CIS was our premier arms maker. Of course nowadays we have more companies doing defence related activities.

Back then old man had alot of quaint ideas: on population control, his ideas about long hair being anti gov't, opposition being branded marxist , strict censorship even though we had Geylang & Bugis still had it's naughty bits... .that's when he liberally used his knuckle dusters.

A leftie reservist tried shooting right, at a rifle range and found his shots ended in the next-guy's target.

You mean AR-15? There is no M-15. The M-16 is the military version of the AR-15, which was a hunting rifle initially.

The AR-15s used in the SAF in the late 60s till mid 70s were bought from the US, most of which were Vietnam surpluses, as the US troops were withdrawing from Vietnam.

used? Still was in use lah lol. I was using the AR-15 till they issued me a M16S1 as my personal weapon. Mind you this is about 10 years ago

I was a marksman with the M16 but a bobo shooter with the SAR 21. Just can't shoot with this front heavy rifle with a telescope.
