his clinic is in Mt Elizabeth and not in a village in Ama Keng or Punggol. Which resident from Punggol would attend his clinic in Mt E.

Mt E is very expensive place where only the rich and famous can be treated. Not for poor peasants like Singaporeans.

It make lots of money from those with enough "dough". Wonder how much the Indian Govt paid it for their national who died here.

As for poor family background of poor Koh. I feel he should have taken a public bus to Punggol East so that the residents could believe in his sob story, "I am from a very poor background. Boh Lwee kau khai" or "not enough money to spend". After-all his father was a bus driver wasn't he?

Dr Koh is right. He does not need any sympathy votes. He stands for what he believes in.He is a professional man - no need to curry any favour or beg for any sympathy. I am here to serve you. I offer my service to the residents. I sacrifice myself. Look at my credentials - and look at my other fellow contestants. Use your brains and don't simply cast your votes blindly. Look again - carefully at the contestants and see for yourself who can best serve you.

Dr Koh is right. He does not need any sympathy or even empathy votes. HE IS THE MAN WHO CAN BEST SERVE PE.PERIOD.

These is the path of extreme deviation. I am not a man of religion but I am sure that all the major religions advice it's adherents to steer clear of such paths for this is where the rue danger lurks.

Fame and shame tend at times to come very fast.

My advise to the Dr Koh is not to forget the days when there was a struggling "little innocent Koh, who played in pig-sties and picked rubber seeds and whose father had to take on the added role of a bus driver to supplement the family's meagre income".

Humility is the best protector. Cockiness leads to decadence of character.

But there are people, especially those who have sudden acsess to wealth but have yet to show their "charitable" trait.

I remember those days when Division 2 and 3 civil servants paid higher monthly premiums to the Community Chest and "TT Durai's" NKF as compared to those who were Division 1 officers.
