No need for him to be a future PM.. the family has already accumulated enough wealth and power to last for another 3 generations.

My prediction for the next 20 years: Pap's wield on the country will decline spectacularly. But the Lee clan will still be very much in power through GLCs and banks.

It's such a shame they have and will only exert power over this tiny country. Which Lee has ever successfully ventured out of sinkieland and made it?

One does not get rich the Lee way without making enemies. We of course don't know who all their enemies are, but we have seen that even one disgruntled taxi driver can make life for the PAP difficult.

We can only speculates what the future will be but as long as they are living in Spore they will need to surround themselves with protection. They have been responsible for many unpopular issues : locking up our CPF, letting in so many foreigner, stealing people's land,...

Hopefully the tax payers will not bare the burden i.e. the PAP will be a minority gov't.
