I listened to Tracy Huang when she was still 黄露仪. I did not listen to her English period, nor when she returned to her real name of 黄莺莺。As 露仪 her singing style was sentimental and breathy, not exactly my style. But that was a time she met her Singaporean husband.

I somehow lost interest in Mandarin songs after the market got flooded with cabaret style Taiwanese singers. I understand Tracy experimented with several other styles but unfortunately I did not get to know them and the sentimental breathy style stuck in my memory. The positive thing that stayed in my memory was her marvelous command of English for a Mandarin singer and a Taiwanese at that.

About 10 years ago she alluded that she had divorced her husband for 8 years then but later it was denied that there was any official divorce. So what is the real story?

I am not only looking at age difference. If it is just age, then what you say is true. A difference of about 12 to 13 years. What is more important is what ST represents and what TT represents. So ST cannot be ST in Sammyboy but TT can.
