Istanbul, Canakkakle, Troy, Pergamon, Selcuk, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia, Ankara and Bolu.
Frankly all this sounds totally foreign and nil to me. Never been there before.
By the way, was told that drinking water from the tap, is a no no, while understandable, but not even so after boiling. My thought was that after boiling should be pretty safe, anyway, sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry though.
Put a good warm jacket at all time, it is the cold wind. Buy all your stuffs at Istanbul, particularly at Spice bazaar. Grand bazaar is waste of time. Beware of the guide bringing you to a particular shop. Istiklat in Instanbul,a must go and dont patron those bars there. Bring a good camera.
Be your own person. Just say your piece and let it go at that. There's no need to suffer any agony of "what it may mean to some". There's bound to be some.
And in any case, what's wrong even if anyone needs some pity? As humane humans, there's nothing wrong in pitying where pity is due.
