I think the FT issue is not that important to voters when they vote.
It's comfort zone that decided who they voted for. The incumbent always have the edge.

I think FT issue will be important for some voters. It will definitely take away some votes from the pap and I hope that will be significant enough to make a difference

great that you saw through the pap..but many singaporeans still believe what the pap says. I dont believe the pap. so i want to see whether the pap really has learnt from Singaporeans' anger. if they do, we will see many bad policies rescinded and reversed.

will the pap take in only foreigners in the construction, maid and the like industries?

will the pap relax control of the media?

will the pap treat all Singaporeans with respect and as equals?

will the pap reduce all unnecessary taxes and levies?

will the pap introduce minimum wages?

will the pap care more for workers?

will the pap sack useless ministers?

aiyahhh..no chance to get CPF back at 55. even 65 also cannot ...now the CPF has said that we have to convert it to annuity called CPF Life. I heard we may lose more money..read the below report:

"Bankrupt Paulson Resorts sold to main creditor GIC after seeing no bidders

Government of Singapore Investment Corp. is set to buy a group of resorts owned by hedge fund Paulson & Co. for $1.5 billion after no competing bidders emerged for the bankrupt properties.

An auction for the properties was canceled after no competing bids were received, leaving GIC, a sovereign wealth fund, as the successful bidder, according to a filing today in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan.

The sale comes after a joint venture that includes Paulson acquired eight resorts through a foreclosure last year. Five of the properties, including the Grand Wailea in Hawaii and La Quinta Resort & Club in California, then filed for bankruptcy protection.

The resorts sought approval in August for an auction with GIC acting as the lead bidder. The auction was scheduled for tomorrow. The Doral golf resort in Miami was sold earlier to Donald Trump.

GIC, a creditor in the bankruptcy case, has agreed to buy the Grand Wailea, La Quinta, the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, the Claremont resort in Berkeley, California, and property at the Doral, according to court papers"
