No, I am not being sarcastic or scare mongering. I write with heavy heart and good intention to see
if we can avert the inevitable rollover the relevancy cliff.
As a new non-aligned, non-partisan junior member, I observed with great distress the increasing belligerency
between the various factions/individuals within our brotherhood.
With the proliferation of weapon of mass destruction (ie. donation), this has taken the hostility to a new level
where newbie like me are afraid and reluctant to post for fear being caught in a crossfire, zapping and infraction
for no reason other than trying to make a constructive criticism.
Four areas where this forum may need to be rehashed:-
1. "Ask Aunt Agnes" threads where forumers flood this forum with frivolous questions for "Advise" and got
"Advice"
2. Hogging of Page 1, drowning and derailing discussion on partisan level through foot soldiers and clones
while their masters wait in ambush and zapping.
3. Wholesale recycling of Yester-News from MSMs without lead or framing to provide clarity of issues.
4. Buffer zone laid with minefields, ambushes, zappers, "infractors", Samaritans and not forgetting the
weapon contractor who is laughing his way to the bank!
Ps.
I only got 65 points YTD through sheer hard work and diligence postings, so if you must, go easy on the zapping ....
