oh shit!! i had been cheated by sbs bus - again!!

people, u ve to be aware. to be very aware when u beep ur EZLINK card when taking buses.

when i beeped it after boarding and alighting, i realised that during one short journey of 2 bus stops distance, i was charged $1.73!!

only realised that when i checked the details of the bus trips at the topup machine in mrt station.

so beware!! especially when ur topup value decrease at an abnormal rate.

another thing, claiming for refund for wrongful charges is really very tedious. u would end up spending more transport just to claim the difference :(

this is what our gov is promoting: MAFIA MONOPOLISTIC BUSINESS that affect the entire nation!! fuck them!

coins? u end up paying more. that's how they ketok newly arrived FTs. the tourists are especially vulnerable and usually get themslves overcharged.

there was once a japanese couple boarded and didn't ve enough coins. either that or they didn't understand what the PRC was babbling in cheena spiked engrish.

as i was sitting near the entrance, i stood up, asked how much was the shortfall, dug into my pocket n dumped in the exact fees for the confused japanese couple. if no one had done that, dunno how long the bloody driver was going to stall the bus and yakity-yak-yak non-stop to a totally blur and blank japanese.

of course, they thanked me and refund me the money. as a gesture of friendliness i told them it was ok. not only that, they weren't sure where they should drop and they really not so comfortable asking the PRC driver confused them even more. in the end, we chatted and realised we were dropping at the same place - VIVOCITY.

in the end, we became pals. yep! i had their jap address in case i visit japan
