Skydiver lands safely after historic jump from edge of space

Skydiver Felix Baumgartner has made history by smashing the world record for highest skydive, after leaping from a height of nearly 40 kilometres.

The 43-year old Austrian daredevil ascended to the edge of space in a pressurised capsule suspended beneath a giant helium balloon. He then jumped back to earth, free-falling for four minutes and 19 seconds.

May I then suggest Singapore's very own Khoo Khoo Chiow to try to better his record? Methinks it's more challenging for him than climbing mountains.

This guy seems more keen on expeditions like mountain climbing and trekking.
He may not want to try something that is unfamiliar to him.
