He better hope that Potong Pasir will be in GRC if not, if he continue with this, he may just lose it. Unless of course, they still insist to put Lina Chiam to fight for the seat.

The void deck used as an “office” by former Potong Pasir Member of Parliament (MP) Chiam See Tong has been cleared out to make way for a new facility.
It has been the spot for his Meet-the-People sessions since 1992.
Yesterday, a post on the Singapore People’s Party Facebook page reported that someone sponsored a moving company to move Mr Chiam’s much-used desk from Block 108 Potong Pasir Avenue 1 to the party’s headquarters near MacPherson Road. The person was not named.
The party had appealed for help online to move the desk by Tuesday or risk having it being thrown away by the town council. It said in one of its posts that “the old wooden desk holds a lot of meaning for us and for Singaporeans”.
The current MP for Potong Pasir, Mr Sitoh Yih Pin, told reporters on Tuesday that a voluntary welfare organisation (VWO) will be occupying the void deck, but he did not want to reveal the organisation’s name, only saying it has been operating in Potong Pasir for quite a few years.
Today newspaper reported him as saying that earlier this year, the Housing Board (HDB) and Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports had approved the VWO’s request to use the void deck as a wellness centre for residents.
He added that the lease for the VWO’s current premise has run out and said that there would be other developments in the ward, with other void decks in Potong Pasir to be used by childcare centres and a family service centre. (so nice of him to develop Potong Pasir)
Health Minister Gan Kim Yong is expected to visit the constituency on Sunday.
Mr Sitoh said he would be happy to help Mr Chiam and his wife, Mrs Lina Chiam, a non-constituent MP, to find another location for their office should they need his help.
He told Channel NewsAsia: "I'm sure they would not object to Block 108 being used as a wellness centre for residents because it is for the benefit of the residents. If you go to (Block) 108, there are many tables and chairs, and out of respect for Mr Chiam, I made a deliberate and conscious effort not to touch the things there. (nice gesture)
"But now there's a VWO coming in for the sake of the residents...we want to develop Potong Pasir. I'm sure Mr Chiam See Tong and Mrs Lina Chiam will not oppose that." (implying that ppl dun want cooperate with him??)
Mr Chiam, 77, was MP for Potong Pasir from 1984 until he contested Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC in the 2011 elections while Mrs Chiam took over to contest for Potong Pasir. Both lost in the elections to candidates from the ruling People's Action Party.
During elections time in 2011, Mr Chiam had written a letter to The Straits Times Forum to rebutt a report that he closed the office he built in 1985 at Block 108 for the Meet-the-People sessions. He wanted to clarify that the office was built by HDB and the housing agency demolished his office in a day in 1992. (See Sitoh so nice, never touch or demolish his things)
He then had to use the void deck for the sessions.
On the Singapore People’s Party Facebook page, the moving-out process has been documented, including the last Meet-the-People’s session held on 28 September. One post read: “We are very sad to have to leave this place (Block 108) after 28 years, and will keep many fond memories of meeting Potong Pasir residents here, even after the last GE. We will announce our new MPS (Meet-the-People session) venue soon.”
