A US gunman went on a shooting spree in Minneapolis, killing four people before blasting
himself to death.
The shooter opened fire inside a sign-making business yesterday afternoon and also
wounded four others, including three critically.
Officers cordoned off the area around the company and held residents back.
The tragedy is the latest in a series of shootings which have rocked the US and rekindled
debate about gun control.
Minneapolis Police spokesman Steve McCarty said he did not know what connection the shooter
may have had with the business, if any. Neither his name nor the names of the victims have
been released.
