They convinced you that your chances of winning are very high. And their letters are so well-decorated inside with this cert and that cert you can almost smell the money coming your way.

Reader Digest was OK in the early 70s to 80s. From then on it's just a scam.

After they introduce themselves, I will ask : "Which doctor appointment do you want?"

The reply : "huh???"

Just send back the stuff in the "NO THANKS" envelope like I always do. There are still prizes to be won but not as good as those if you send back the "YES" envelope. But till this day, I've yet to receive another mailer from them telling me to collect any prizes. ya, i got!! but mine is phrased that i m the very few who qualify for the grand lucky draw. in the event, i m picked, a limousine would be despatched to pick me to a 5star hotel ( they din specified which hotel) to received my fat cheque.

real or fat hope?

actually in the past, i did win something fr RD without subscribing. i won a complete set of classical cds which they delivered to my doorstep.
