Probably not as long as sg pools exists in its current format. :)

if dun use led pencils, use wat pencils? ...

mechanical pencils. they are so cheap to produce and re-useable. they are even given out during roadshows, seminars, courses and promotional events.

I still have 2 dozen lead pencils that were bought 20+ years ago during my school days! dunno what to do with them. Maybe give them to child care centres, playschools or singapore pools.

I have one Staedtler HB lead pencil right on my desk. Made in Germany.

I must be damn free now. ;)

I always pick up a couple of pencils whenever i go Ikea ever since son start schooling. also keep one in the car so as to shade horse selection ticket so no need to waste time at the betting outlet.

Pencils like these are very useful for making quick sketches of things/people you see or have in your mind.
There is nothing to replace that at the moment, not a mechanical pencil, not a pen, not a crayon, not a computer program, nothing............... ;)

How many of you old farts remember that there were 2 rates for electricity in Singapore, the cheaper rates for essential use like lights and the other for 'luxuries', like fridges. No TVs, microwaves then. How they were wired and how the authorities prevent using the cheaper source for the fridge, I know not. Anyone?

I dun recall but remembered the pins on the plug for certain appliances like fridge, aircon and washing machine were different (round pins) than the normal ones.

You good in drawing? I only use the HB pencil to jot down my eureka moments.

You know the saying those who can't draw, preach. ;)
