When Roman Catholic married Muslim had to convert Muslim.

When Christian married Roman Catholic had to convert Roman Catholic

When Free Thinker, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist or so on married Christian had to convert Christian.

Our law force us to admit the converting is willing not by force. It is not a value of not to take side on any religion but to be freedom of married.

fivestars,
You jap girlfriend just passed away, so fast you are looking to marrying a Christian!
She loves you, she will not force you. You can convert her instead.

Married shall not look at the different of religion and want the other side partner to convert for a same religion. Married shall respect each other religion and wish the other side partner to success in religion path.

It is very silly. Again Nabi Muhamad teaching, God Only Son Jesus teaching and Buddha teaching and committed many sin and ask for forgive. We must feel shame.

In Singapore, no one is forced or coerced to join any religious group. My ex-classmate was a catholic Eirasian and married a muslim Malay girl, he remained Catholic. Their children were given their own free choice to choose whichever religion they wanted. They chose soccer.

Cheers!
