8 injured & 2 missing after temporary scaffolding at construction of subway link roof for new Downtown Line (DTL) Bugis Station gave way. Injured sent to nearby Raffles Hospital with minor injuries
What a co-incidence, just recently we here at SBF were just chatting about that building in the background!!:p
Yea! This is the result of using foreign trashes in the construction industry.
Construction worker - foreigner
Foreman - foreigner
Draftman - foreigner
Safety officer - foreigner
Surveyor - foreigner
Engineer - foreigner
Very soon , a whole building will collapse, especially those buildings built during the last ten years using all sort of unqualified foreigners.
Maybe it's Alstom's fault again.
I find it highly curious that they're always constructing LRT lines.
Someone should investigate the tender/bidding process.
