Hong Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai are crowded corners of a large cage. The rats can move to a less crowded spot within the cage, with ease.

Easy. HK, Tokyo, and Shanghai are not as crowded as this cesspit. The \"rats\" in those cities largely belong to the same breed whereas the rodents here are of different breeds and the local breeds are being overwhelmed by foreign breeds and some of these are either rabid or smelly or both.

I think it was a stupid reaction to thank the caller. The host should have said "sorry for that and moved on."
Also, I believe all live TV/radio programs have a 3 second delay for the producers to screen and stop broadcasting prank/offensive calls.. That's actually one of the basic rules of live broadcasting.
