Than, Just prior to the PAP awarding miliion dollar salaries, if I recall correctly, his salary increased by than to $12,000 per month. So, $9000 increase over a span of 20 years. But back than, lower rung superscale G was getting $4000. Once million dollar salaries kicked in, all bets of off, and caused a widespread escalation in salaries all the way down to supercale.

Othman Wok must have moved to Opera Estate from Evelyn Rd (Newton), KC Lee is now staying in 3rd Ave, Bukit Timah, and Rahim Ishak mati in 2001 and his family is still staying in Woo Mun Chew Rd, Opera Est.

Before Rahim Ishak became MP of Siglap in 1963, Shahora, a fat Malay lady was Siglap's first elected PAP MP in 1959.

If they put me in charge of the CPIB, I would do the job for no salary. That's how much I hate these corrupted hypocrites. In fact, in the first week, the number of people I would arrest would fill changi prison. LOL. When u deal with these kind of people, its no holds barred. U can't give them quarter, because they will give you non. After 50 years running the country, their cupboards are cramped with skeletons. U have to make them cough up every cent they stole from the people. U know why the Filipinos were unsuccesful in getting all of Marcos' stolen money? Yes black and white BUT amidst a sprawling estate surrounded by forest. Formerly British top guns used to stay there. These homes were left behind by the british just like their camps and other possessions. Rajaratnam used to live in one at Mt Rosie. Ong Teng Cheong also used to stay at one such bungalow at Dalvey Road.

Returned back to Land Office and moved into his 3rd Ave bungalow.
