I used to prefer Venus too, until this year when she was knocked out in the first round and was really rude during her post match press conference.
These players have already made tons of money and were either great players or still are. No need to take it out on a reporter doing his or her job asking questions at a press conference.

guess some of them dont handle some losses very well. Steffi showed this aspect once when she lost a wimbledon match early in the competition.

One of the English papers labelled her 'Sour kraut' ....good play on words i thought.

Not sure if the brothers here remember Justine Henin. I admired her alot when she was still playing. Despite her small size, she managed to beat her much bigger opponents (was damn happy whenever she beat that gorilla bitch Serena Williams). She brought back feminism to the women's game with her graceful moves round the court. She gave beauty back to the women's game that was spoiled by the likes of Serena Williams who used brute strength and bulldozed their way through. Justine had a legendary backhand that John McEnroe called the best ever. Regrettably she retired from the game at young age.

yes tennis did indeed take its toll on her......contributed to the ruined relationship with her parents and later her husband....and of course her injuries.

Serena never liked being beaten by this pint sized opponent ...some post match interviews especially the US Open one is testimony to that.
