Read in the news that this dreaded disease is onthe increase in Singapore recently.

Alo happened to see in CNN yesterday, that it is very prevalent in the India subcontinent, parts of South America, Africa and China.

Has it got to do with the massive influx of FTs to Singapore. Understand that tubercouosis or TB can remain dormant for many years affecting the victim very slowly. Are the FTs that comes in is subjected medical check up for this dreaded disease.

Told u what some cheebye racist bastard say limited oni to ah neh. I say all niggers, nehs, chinks, latinoes included.

It is true to a certain extent that close proximity is one of the main causes of the spread, as highlighted in CNN, where houses or slums in Peru, are so close to one another that it actually spreads from family to family.

One of the main highlight ofthe show was that good ventilation does actually reduce the spread of this disease.

I guess, we have to go back to the old days of have buses that are non airconditioned, using only windows for ventilation.

Yes all Singaporeans must be vigilant. If you notice someone coughing badly and have signs of great weakness, please inform the medical authorities of this individual for tracking purposes.

One question Div 1, does the authority conduct medical checks on FT's coming, or prior to coming in.

I recalled from some friends earleir, that their maid was immediately sent back, after failing their medical checkup and the diagnosis turns out to be TB.

Stringent checks are carried out for workers coming to Singapore. But tourists are always difficult.

I am going to press SMRT emergency button if I hear someone cough and have the staff send this cough-er to emergency unit. For paying so high a fare, I demand a safe environment for me to commute.

You might want to write in to the SBS Transit to ask them to reinstate mre of those non airconditioned buses back onthe roads. It might be a little stuffy, but at least if it is well ventilated.

Our Government's FT policy will ultimately import something as deadly as XDR TB in.
Their short sighted policy to gain economic progress, will in fact destroy SG eventually.

Bring your own oxygen tank with you when you board SMRT train during peak periods.

all NS slaves should utilise their chemical warfare training to avod TB.

Wah I cough because my saliva got stuck in my throat also cannot. Stricter than the gahment although many condemn and ridicule that gahment too strict.

All of us I believe have breathe in TB germs which are floating around us. But because we are healthy, and the places are relatively clean, we are able to overcome the germs and do not contract the diseases. Important thing is be healthy, and keep clean habits such as not splitting and flush the toilets and wash your hands after that.
