[h=1]What is a Noun?[/h]
A noun is a word used to name a person, animal, place, thing, and abstract idea. Nouns are usually the first words which small children learn.

[h=1]What is a Verb?[/h]
The verb is perhaps the most important part of the sentence. A verb or compound verb asserts something about the subject of the sentence and express actions, events, or states of being.

it can be a noun, a verb, adverb, adjective and in some instances as greetings

"Twit" can be used as both a noun and a verb.

Humour -both verb and noun. As in, you humour (verb) boss here. But he's got this dry and cryptic humour (noun). Half expected he started thread devoting to his favourite anglo correction:D

the verb bit is ok.....the noun not so. Thats because BosSam went SGH to remove his sense of humour when he was very young.

"Complain" is a verb. "Complaint" is a noun. These get mixed up very often too.

"Lose" and "loose".

"I agreed" instead of "I agree". "I agreed" implies you've changed your mind and don't agree anymore.

"Dateline" instead of "Deadline".

"Bored" and "Boring"

"50 years old lady..." instead of "50 year old lady...." [The "s" shouldn't be there]
