Former PAP backbencher and presidential candidate Dr Tan Cheng Bock has questioned the Rotary Club’s $100,000 gift
to PAP candidate for Hougang Desmond Choo on the eve of the Hougang by-election.

The Straits Times had earlier published an article on the Rotary Club’s pledging $100,000 to Desmond Choo to retrofit
ageing toilets in Hougang.

Maybe because he has always been a dog? Now he is bringing up subject to be rewarded?

The PAP has for the first time brought a private out into the open to support its pork barrel style of elections and vote getting. This is a new tactic and it is surprising that not many have talk about this. Singapore politics has now been open to the highest bidder in the private sector. This is going to be a big problem for Singapore politics. But as expected the WP is a few elections behind. Always talking about media and character assassination. This new selling of politicians to private groups is going to make the next GE more interesting.

WP have to wake up they're idea and make the noise at the right place. They only make noise that everyone already can see don't say hear. LTK must grow into a man and lead or be a fool and pretend that he see nothing and hear nothing unless it has hapenned for 50 years.

Being a nice guy and a being righteous is totally different. I respect him for speaking out against naming Jurong Hospital being name after Ng Teng Fong. He probably should have said nothing now. This topic has already been discussed in SBF the very moment the news broke out.

AS I said many times....a lot of organisations like NTUC for instance provide A Comms team for demon choo during this BE! Is this correct? isnt this a total betryal to the independence of such organisation!

So those who help a lot in the ntuc cooms team gets promotion faster? Isnt this unethical?

Somehow, Demon Choo is not an innocent guy boy next door? To me, he is amother mercernary seeking better gains by being PAP!

It was NTUC that nominated OTC for Presidency and endorsed Tony Tan. NTUC chief is "elected" from a pool of one and happens to be a cabinet minister.

If they are independent, I am Mother Theresa.
