13.5k a month now, great chunk of it actually used to fund grassroot programmes from their own pockets (no funding from PA see?) that money is super hard to earn

I may not agree that ERIC's Quiting WP is the right thing to do. But one thing I do know: He does not need the salary of a MP or NCMP. His pay was definitely higher when he was a senior banker and now as a consultant. Besides he is from rich stock..

He joined politices because he loves SINgapore. He loves Sngaporeans. He has conviction. He wants to answer the call to step forward and he has got guts.

But sadly, I think he is wrong leaving WP because of the NCMP incident...maybe the NCMP thing was a trap laid out for the opposition...
