TCH was one of the fellas whom I felt was really in politics for the calling. His personal wealth (OCBC family) does not require him to take all this shit. And that is why his behaviour in Hougang is quite intriquing - he was talking like HE was the candidate and that Desmond was his runner. But the damage he has done to Singapore is worse:

1) His yapping like a crazy dog/bitch who does not want to let go showed him to be immature, lack political suaveness and worse, demonstrate that MONEY does NOT buy class. He was born into money but obviously did not do well in grooming class. How does a PAP tea-party invitee respond to someone like that during the "interview" knowing that this fella could be a future PM? No wonder then, that we can trade unionists and military officers, who can ask only one question when ordered to jump: "How high, sir?"

2) He should just have let his prostitutes in Braddel Road push the shit (shareholders don't care; think SMRT) and he should have taken the high ground with comments like "Well, I don't want to comment too much on other political parties (he can afford to be dismissive) but from what I read in the papers, it is not very positive for the candidate but I will let the people of Hougang to make the judgement on the impact of this matter." Instead, he goes on and on ad nauseum on the same theme for three successive days. It makes one wonder what he would have talked about if the leaked minutes had not surfaced. But this confirms that they are absolutely bankrupt of ideas.

3) He was unable to realise that in the hustings, we are all Singaporeans first, and party members second. But no, he has taken the route of the "I stand corrected" One and short of saying 'repent' you fools, his demeanour and combativeness behaviour during the campaign actually sabotages the 'inclusive' theme which has been sprouted with regular vulgarity regardless of the scheme being promoted.

My sad conclusion is that he was so inspired by Sir Fcuk in the 2011 rally that he decided to imitate him.

Ya can this guy be the next heavy weight Ministar? I doubt so.

He is adopting the same vindictive nature of his political masters. This type are truly buried and dead with the ppl of sinkieland. No substance at all. The next heavy weight Ministar? More like weights around his neck.

He won't be.
LHL is 60, TCH will be 58 in Dec.
When LHL is ready to retire, so will he.

They will retire together unless health problem hastens the process for one or the other.

Excellent article, shld be sent to the Prostitutes in Bradell Rd. They can learn a thing or two on
how to improve their Balls licking Skills.

these MIWs invent these stupid terms to glorify themselves....
he guy is just a nerd who got good academic results, went on to be a paper general.......then into politics.....this type work experience coupled with an elite upbringing...........what the fuck he knows?

Do u think Divine intervention from above will help to make the lives of Singaporeans a little better...???

I doubt it. The pap can't afford to lose any more heavyweights (even if they may be self-serving cock in mouth idiots). Else the party would end up with mainly floaters (opposite of heavy weight).

Divine intervention? WTF is that? This so called Divine entity has bestowed upon mankind the gift of intelligence and discernment. And if 60% do not want to use it, its not His fault.

Very good observations indeed. This guy is grossly over-rated, he now looks really bad.
He needs a Tommy Koh to polish back his image.

You can take out any Ministar and it won't make a difference. All are just Yes Men. Easily replaced by next in line cronies

Very insightful analysis indeed!
Should he be asked to step down, I will feedback to LKY to co-opt your grandfather to become the Coordinating Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
