3. Be concise and as direct in your speeches, it is hard to impress people when your words are too big and they understand only 1 word in 10 out of yours.

3. they had the capacity & capability to interchange & mix sing "mandarin" with sin "english".

Good spoken Singapore English does not have an accent at all, as compared to US, UK, Aussie English.

Good spoken Singapore English does not have an accent at all, as compared to US, UK, Aussie English. We speak Queen's English without "marbles" in our mouth. To me, an example of a typical good Singapore English speaker is LKY. My friends from the US and UK like the way I speak, just pure good English stripped of all accents which sometimes make comprehension difficult. Focus on good pronunciation and sentence construct.

Dont get too excited.when you angmo friends say that they are probably comparing your English to Ah tiong,Ah neh and Pinay's england.

ok you got me. Its the Spore accent. I was told there is no accent in the way I speak English by some of my US and UK friends. To them, its just plain sounding English which was easy to understand.

I think as long as your pronunciation and sentence construct are there, its ok. Throw in good vocabulary, and they sure as hell won't even think to compare the Spore accent with those you mentioned.

bro, I agree. Don't try to slang or sound like someone else, be proud of our Spore accent. Speak good English in Spore accent. Or in your case, in your HK canto accent.
