Tourists at Downtown East spotted bearing giant Vietnamese flag

STOMPer Ian was amused by the sight of this tour group at Downtown East bearing a giant Vietnamese flag.

The STOMPer wrote:

I don't know what the big deal is? In NZ, South Africans often have their flag flying from their roofs or balconies. Same goes with the Tongans, Samoans, Cook Islanders etc. I've seen flags from scores of countries during my time here. Car mounted flags are very popular.
