4 Political Donation Certificates issued for Hougang by-election

SINGAPORE: Four Political Donation Certificates have been issued for the May 26 by-election in Hougang constituency.

The Elections Department said on Tuesday that certificates were issued to Mr Desmond Choo, Mr Png Eng Huat, Mr Poh Lee Guan and Mr Zeng Guoyuan.

To be validly nominated as a candidate for election in a constituency, the nominee needs to, amongst other requirements, submit to the Returning Officer on Nomination Day on May 16 the Political Donation Certificate issued by the Registrar of Political Donations.
