I have no problems with facebook as a site. It's a wonderful way of sharing information. What I can't understand is why people enjoy laying their private lives bare and then filing police reports when their photos end up being circulated "without approval".

I grew up in an era when the internet was all about anonymity. Many went to great lengths to keep their identities secret.

This forum isn't competing with facebook. It isn't a networking site. In fact, I've been discouraging networking from day one.

in FACEBOOK, u choose the people u wanna share ur info n knowledge. those u dun like or find it ambiguous, it's safer to "lock" them out.

in sammyb, many are just bo liao clones who are so bloody stupid dunno how to use the IGNORE KEY but they are very cleber to use the infract key instead. u cannot lock anyone out. u just gotta bear such pricks.

and the biggest prick of them all is none other than samleong himself who put all those redundant gadgets to be used and abused.
