Such remarks worry me. Every idiot knows that inflation does not impact everyone equally or directly but eventually filters down to the man in the street. Increase COE means increase transport costs for taxi companies who clamours for increase taxi fares. Increase COE means besotted have to sell more charkwayteows to buy his new Cherry QQ => increase charkwayteow price.

Why is he not saying the same with economic growth numbers?? It would make a lot more sense if he says economic growth does not mean better job prospect or salary increments for the common man, because businesses employ pinoys instead!
