According to the reader who sent in the snapshot,
NTUC supermarket was holding a special offer for
Ice Cool “young cunt with pulp” at 3 for $2.60.
Despite Google, Bing, Yahoo and numerous others, Editors were unable to identify the product “young cunt with pulp” and it was only after visiting several nearby supermarket that we managed to find one closest match, which is an Ice Cool brand of coconut juice with pulp. However, it may not be the “young cunt with pulp” which NTUC supermarket was offering, because the specials stated that it was 500ml “young cunt with pulp” while the Ice Cool brand of “young coconut with pulp” comes in 310ml packaging.
Assuming indeed that it was the product by Ice Cool, then the said sign most likely have been written by a ‘Foreign Talent’ certainly not from Singapore, because no primary school student in Singapore will ever misinterpret “coconut” juice as “cunt” juice.
If this is the standard of ‘Foreign Talents’ that are being “welcomed and imported” into Singapore with open arms, then it is time to seriously start worrying for our future.
We certainly do not want our children to grow up describing “barbecued spring chicken” as “hot young cock” or “black young cock”, do we?
