A Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officer who has since retired was sentenced to six weeks' jail on Wednesday for failing to arrest and hand over two men to the nearest police station for offering him bribes.

District Judge Eugene Teo convicted the long-time officer last month of four charges after a 10-day trial.
