Loser Kan Seng to China - "Listen to alternative views?" Whoa, is PAP listening?

SINGAPORE - No matter how potentially good a policy is, the Chinese government has to be fully prepared to listen to alternative views and gather feedback and, if necessary, make suitable adjustments so as to apply policies effectively, said former Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng yesterday.

Mr Wong said: "It is not enough that a policy is well-done on paper and in theory, it must have effective execution."

And to achieve prosperity and stability, the rule of law must be "applied consistently to all aspects of governance in a country", said Mr Wong, who is also special adviser to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on economic cooperation programmes with China and other Asian countries.

Hahaha, u donch know how politics work in singapore meh? After being asked to step down as ministar during the last election, he went to Gay Loong and told him how to survive on only MP salary, after getting paid millions $ as a ministar? Gay Loong gave him the Chairman of Singbridge, a lucrative post. But still not enough mah.
