Nicole Chua thrilled the crowd at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday night with a dream first round stoppage win over India's Jeet Toshi, then went home looking forward to a good night's rest.

The Yishun accountant had combined working full-time with training for this match on One Fighting Championship's War of the Lions bill, and got the job done after just two minutes seven seconds of the opening session.

Chua left the cage as she had entered it - to thunderous applause from the 7,000-strong crowd - then said she was ready for a well-earned break.

'I'm happy I was able to make Singapore proud,' said Chua. 'I looked for the opportunity and when it came I just went for it. Now I'm going to get a good sleep.'

Evolve MMA is a great gym that trains champions. Good but must be willing to pay.

bro..having a good gym is not enough to train fighters ...how can a fighter be good if he or she is not doing full time sport ? real champion fighters train at least 8hours a day .

This better looking woman, late ACTRESS BAI JING trained in WING CHUN MARTIAL ARTS for 6 months by Ip Chun was stabbed to death by her husband that looks like JACK NEO. All the martial art training couldn't even stop a fatal knife attack from a wimp!

Shocking news from mainland China this week as media reports the stabbing death of actress Bai Jing, 29, by her husband Zhou Cheng-hai, 44, in an alleged murder-suicide in their home in Beijing on Tuesday.

Bai Jing was the first personal disciple in Mainland of Kong Fu master Ye Zhun (also known as Ip Chun), who is the son of Ye Wen (aka. Ip Man), grandmaster of Wing Chun (咏春). Since the training laid a good foundation for her martial arts skills, Bai Jing was hailed as the “successor of Michelle Yeoh (杨紫琼)“, after her successful performance in the martial arts movie “Kung Fu Wing Chun” released in 2010 as the leading actress.

This singaporean guy is a much better deal than Nicole Chua, why he is not in the press coverage?

Looks ok for a first time fighter. Didn't get to see much fight though cos the opponent gave up fast.
I have to say that her opponent look weak but Nicole does seem to have potential.

Saw the Rahman Radeem fight too, very weak fighter. They gave him an even weaker fighter and he won. I bet you Radeem will definitely lose his next fight.

Quek Kim Hock is one heck of an impressive fighter. Very skillful, great boxer.
His opponent was weak though, a bit slow for a pro his size.

ps: that singaporean guy also not a good sportsman ...after he win he didnt immediately go to the other fighter and thanks him for the fight .

You know why? because he's not from Evolve, the local fighclub, who is also the major sponsor in this event, this guy joined as individual/private
