STOMPer Benson bought a holiday package deal which included a Lobster Spaghetti meal. But when he was at the restaurant, he was served seafood spaghetti instead.
The STOMPer elaborates:
"My friend and I saw a Pulau Ubin package online that cost $19.80.
"The ad said, 'Pulau Ubin Full Day Exciting Adventure at Celestial Resort. Includes Whole Day Bicycle Rental, 2-Hr Kayaking or Lagoon Snorkeling, 2-Hr Fish Spa, Marine Fish Feed, and Lobster or Bolognese Spaghetti'.
"But it turn up to be a rip-off.
"When we went to redeem the two hours of Lagoon Snorkelling, the water was so dirty and full of sting rays, so we decided not to go snorkelling.
"We were told to email our choice of food a day before we headed to Pulau Ubin.
"We emailed them and they replied saying that our Lobster Spaghetti will be prepared for us when we are there.
"But when we headed there to redeem our Lobster Spaghetti, the waiter told us that they did not have lobster there for the spaghetti, and insisted that we change our order to Bolognese Spaghetti or Seafood Spaghetti.
"When I showed him the email stating that Lobster Spaghetti would be prepared for us, he told us that 'Lobsters are expensive, how can we serve that?'
"We had no choice but to get Seafood Spaghetti.
"When I gave feedback to one of the staff at the Celestial Resort Bicycle Kiosk, he said, " What did you expect as the package is only $19.80? Did you really expect to eat lobster?'
"We felt cheated by the Celestial Resort website posting which said Lobster Spagehtti, which was not true.
"Its is advisable not to purchase the package for the Pulau Ubin Full Day Exciting Adventure at Celestial Resort....DON'T GET CHEATED!'
