Charles Bronson ....during his heydey ....magnificent 7, the great escape.....loved to watch his movies. Recall the Mandom adverts here too ...but not this particular one.

Death Wish & partiularly one of the best of his "The Mechanic". Remember there were many of those advertisments during that period that leaves an indelible mark in our memories, I name a few, just a few:
1. The Benson & Hedges Cigarette Advertisment ( the theme music & the Cowboys & their horses) - I don't smoke.
2. Cathay Pacific ( Barry White Love Theme) with the plane taking off.
3. Coca Cola Advertisement, the Human Christmas Tree ( I like to Buy the world a Coke).
4. Charles Bronson - Mandom
5. Lam - Guiness Stout ( those words or Wisdom)
6. Quantas - ( where the elderly lady sitting in an Alfreso Cafe, the song " where did you get that hat, where did you get that style")
7. Kodak Advertisement ( Paul Anka's "good morning yesterday, you wake up & time had drift away").

ya i recall that too.....it was a later one after the boots/pool advert.
Another good one with good music was the Barcardi Rum advert....setting was a tropical holiday type.

Yes I remember that Bicardi Rum advertisement too...what was that Catonese advertisment on, was it Citizen Watch? " qin san piew, yum nei jump, yum nei jong"...?? ( roughly translated , can soak in water, can bang against...). The Beikilin advertisement...'Beikilin for vitality" jingle & the Channel 8, when it was half Indian & the other half Chinese programs..." tonic Chap Gajah" jingle...
