You don't have to put on a mask outside the MRT turnstiles

I was curious and went to the control station to ask the MRT staff.

The rule is you don't have to put on a mask outside the MRT turnstiles. It is only mandatory after you cross into the turnstiles.

For your information.

So if you are using the tunnel network inside the MRT station to get from Point A to Point B (and not entering into the turnstiles controlled areas), you DO NOT need to mask on.

Everyone knows once you maintain a safety distance of 1 metre, the covid virus cannot spread. That explains why the fat cunt queuing in front of me insisted on leaving a safety distance of 1 metre from the person in front of her.

Expect a lot of low IQ Covidiots to stare angrily at you when you are a maskless infidel.

Anyway, this is a good thing to know. Sometimes you need to go through a MRT station to use it as a shortcut/underpass to get to the other side of the road, you're not taking the train. Especially with more and more overhead bridges getting demolished to force people to use these MRT tunnels (Bukit Timah, Marine Parade, River Valley).

It's time the masks are off. We can't live with masks forever. It is out of an abundance of caution that masks are still required for places such as hospitals and old age homes.

98% of us are vaccinated, reducing the disease to no more than a head cold like what Boss Sam says. Healthcare will no longer be burdened. Thanks to medical science and technology, life goes on...

Nope. But we can control its spread and severity.

So the virus knows that it is not allowed to infect 50 people packed in a restaurant but it's open season if there are 50 people in an SMRT carriage which is why masked are needed in trains but not in restaurants.

The Wuhan virus needs to abide by Sinkapore law if it wants to stay here. There are well-defined perimeters where it can and cannot go.
Just because it is from tiong-cock doesn't mean it can anyhow 无法无天, 违非做歹.。

I say we need to use the ISA against the virus and lock the damned things up indefinitely till they realise they cannot mess with the PAP.

This was in early 2020, before their Davos/WHO/CDC masters gave further instructions and Tiongland factories haven't yet manufactured enough masks for the world. You would also remember that Tiongs around the world were snapping up all available masks, hoarding them and then sending them to Wuhan.

Once those Tiongland sweatshops started pumping out huge quantities of masks, it's time to wear masks all the time and contribute to Tiongland's economy.

And yes, the masks were also tools for diplomatic photo ops.

Where did you get 98%?

The virus will infect all... you twit.

No one's stopping you from wearing a mask anywhere. The question is not whether the virus is "allowed" to infect, but why wear masks when 98% is already vaccinated and covid is reduced to a mere "head cold" like you said.

Masks should no longer be needed in a post pandemic world.
