Tim Krul bailed Netherlands out.

Are u sure? A better team won't have to play into extra time and sub their keeper for a penalty shootout. Netherlands the hot favorites is the ONLY team in the Quarter Final that won by penalty shoot out.

Why can't LVG have Tim Krul playing from the start? He's a much better keeper than that Jasper guy...........................

Wake up see the score really vomit blood. Worse still Dutch still progress. Have to put up with Alamaking's infactuation acts for another few day. What the fuck! :oIo:
Among the other 3 teams, only the Germans impressed me, Brazil and Argentina doesnt impress me at all. The Dutch didnt play badly, its the Costa Rican whose put up a risilient effort to keep the score level, credit to them.

You have to judge the team on how they play as each game progress, the opponents they faced, and of cox a bit of luck. You judge based on just scoreline only make you a newbie in this game, LOL

You got to be joking. Tim Krul's club form with Newcastle is awful. Newcastle got many 4 - 0 thrashings and higher score lines defeats.

Tim Krul's player ratings is nowhere on par with Kellor Navas. He came on fresh as a sub while Navas played for 120 minutes and every of Costa Rica games.

Newcastle concede goals because of their defenders and defending, not Tim Krul's fault.

With a single swish of the right boot in his side's World Cup quarter-final against Belgium, Gonzalo Higuain finally showed there may be more to Argentina than Lionel Messi after all. Higuain had been under scrutiny after going three and a half matches without scoring, but he needed just eight minutes to find the net in Argentina's 1-0 win in Brasilia on Saturday.

When a pass from Angel di Maria was inadvertently flicked into his path by Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen, the 26-year-old pounced to snap a crisp volley into the bottom-left corner that sent his team into the last four.

NOW WAKE UP! ARGENTINA'S CHANCES OF LIFTING THE WORLD CUP HAVE DOUBLED!!! HIGUAIN AND MESSI WILL SEAL THE FATE OF THE NETHERLANDS!!!

THE GERMAN WILL CRUSH THE BRAZILIANS AND WILL MEET THE ARGENTINIANS AT THE FINALS!!!

Manuel Neuer has been dubbed “the best goalkeeper in the world” by Oliver Kahn as he prepares for Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup semi-final against Brazil. The 28-year-old has played a key part in Germany’s run to the last four by dominating his penalty area and pulling off a string of key saves.

Neuer has shown great timing and judgement by frequently cutting out long passes or crosses with runs out of his own area, often acting more like an extra defender.

Germany will demolish Brazil's dodgy defence in 2014 World Cup semi-final
Brazil's weak defence may be their downfall against Germany
The Selecao played their best football of the tournament against Colombia
Germany looked efficient and totally in control against France

By RIO FERDINAND

Germany looked efficient, and I mean that in an admiring way, not a cliched reference to good organisation. Mats Hummels did very well to head the opener and he and Thomas Muller went on to give the two best performances in the team.
Germany looked completely comfortable, totally in control after taking the lead, squeezing the life out of the game the longer it went on. They exude the kind of calm that comes with experience, and that will be vital from here.
Brazil did better than in any previous match - but then that’s not saying much. Thiago Silva and David Luiz were both excellent but now Brazil will be without Silva and Neymar for the next match and that’s a big blow.
