Why good people always die young and in such aweful death?

CB Buddha!
Because human are hypocrites and superstitious. They become extremely good in the eyes of their friends and colleagues upon their demise. The livings are afraid of bad karma should they say something bad about the deceased.

......both the vehicle light and pedestrian light turned green at the same time.......

Crossing at T-junction is the most fxxking dangerous thing to do in Singapore.Vehicles, coming out from side road and turning right into main road....... is the authority doing?

Agree-its a bad idea to have a pedestrian crossing, where both vehicles and pedestrians can move at the same time .
Its so bad that I told my kids not to be the first or last to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing-as I have seen so may cars zooming pass with pedestrians in between them!
I think its safer to cross when there are no vehicles approaching-whether red light or not.

This kind of unfortunate accident is bound to occur on the roads anywhere in sinkie land involving public buses due to some reckless and inconsiderate bus drivers who speed like a Ferrari driver, beating red lights, refusing to give way to another bus, tailgating another bus, cutting into the lane of another bus, etc.

Are these drivers well trained to drive public buses? Take buses frequently and you will be shocked.

A train driver has been left traumatised after striking a pedestrian in South Auckland this morning.

A 59-year-old man was walking along the train tracks towards the Papatoetoe railway station when he was hit by the train.

Train lines are blocked following the death and commuters are warned to expect delays.

"There will be considerable delays to morning commuters as it will take some time to clear the scene," Northern Communications Shift Commander Inspector Tony Wakelin said.

Sinkie legs are more likely to get stuck because sinkies are overfed by the PAP.

Boss Sam, you have a picture of 2 men doing some sort of whirling dance in your signature. Do you mind get them to do a folk dance instead... they have been performing it for so long... they must be tired of the routine.

Why the bus never give way to pedestrians?

As drivers, we all know that we must keep our minds and eyes on the road even though we have been driving the same road every day. It is easy to take our minds off and let our hands do the driving. Under normal circumstances, even if your mind lapses for a brief moment, you can still manage to control because of your habitual reaction and the familiarity of the route. But when your mind lapses and it so happens that the circumstance is not normal as before as for example, an object suddenly intrudes into your lane or a car cut into your lane suddenly or the car in front of you does a jam-break, you will not be able to respond to avert an accident.

This is what likely happens ... the bus didn't even slow down at the turn... the bus driver apparently "think" everything is normal as before so he goes fast on the accelerator until the bus hits and ploughs onto the woman and pins her underneath... for a second, the bus driver does not even know what has happened... only later he realizes that the bus has hit somebody..

The bus driver is definitely at fault because even if the pedestrian is jaywalking, the driver must still give way. In this case, the victim is presumably innocent. What a waste of a young life! RIP

No excuse
Cannot c then dont drive

If the driver is a PRC ,I am against using PRC drivers for driving buses..

What about if he think he is still in his hometown where it is left hand drive, he forgot and instead of turning right, he turn left..

Can this be an excuse. Ask Josephine Teo.
